About Me

Why hello, come here often?

Anyway, I'm Courtney. I love to be loud and spontanious. There's no need to care what others think of me, I just go out and live life to have fun. Running around with friends my hobby, Being wild and crazzy is what I do best :)

[I have wonderful friends, they hold me together]

People tell me I'm a bright girl... And I know that it's true. But sometimes I show myself that its far from the truth. I love to run away from things... But they tend to turn around and hit me hard! I just need to get a good grip and take charge.

Who I wanna meet? Poeple that can keep their heads up when things start falling to the ground. Just so I can ask them how they can just keep walking with their heads held high, even when they know its not alright.

About Me

I am a 43 yr old, was DX as Type II ~ 2001. Special needs dad from 1993 to 1998, I believe much of the stress and years of not eating right contributed greatly to my DX.

Spent the last 11 years treating it when it was convenient.  Drs put me on insulin in November 2009 but due to no insurance and a 40% salary cut, I was fff my meds totally from 11/2010 to 04/2012 when I was hospitalized for DKA.  Paroled from the hospital on 4/22/2012 I am still recovering from the DKA.

The docs are treating me as if I was a T1 diabetic because of the way my BG trends.  Probably will be undergoing tests soon to see if I may have been a T1 all along.

About Me

Hello All.My name is Paul, and I was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes at the age of 19.It will be 43 years this July that I have been taking two insulin injections every day.I appreciate how hard it must be for those who have been diagnosed with "Diabetes Mellitus"as type 1 is officially known, especially the younger generation.Believe me,I thought at the age of 19 my life would get worse. But 43 years later I have learned that having a respect for our bodies, and a positive attitude does bring results.I love to play keyboard, work with computers, and do quite a lot of volunteer work.Do not allow Diabetes to rule your life, but take advantage of the excellent help and advise that is available to all.
